Comments on: Rand Paul Supporters Rough-Up MoveOn Activist
Prior to Senate Debate in Kentucky, GOP Candidate's Backers Wrestle Woman to Ground, 1 Steps on Her Head
- The crazy, radical woman from MoveOn.org was obviously there with bad intentions, otherwise she wouldn't be trying to disguise herself with a wig. I'm sure the Rand Paul supporters saw her moving agressively toward their candidate and saw her as a threat and took the crazy wench down. You just never know about those MoveOn.org people, they're so whacked out they might be willing to kill somebody "for the cause".

- So you think its all right to dehumanize someone by stepping on their head? Do you also support the crazy person who suggested armed revolt if the democrats won? You don't see anything wrong with either of these situations?
- YOU are the WHACKJOB I'm worried about. This kind of behavior is TOTALLY unacceptable and if Rand Paul was any sort of MAN, he would condemn this kind of behavior by his supporters. This woman has every right to be there and to state her opinion. WHAT KIND OF AMERICAN ARE YOU. Suddenly you just throw away the Constitution and Bill of Rights because YOu don't like what a person believes. Are you sure you want to start that trend? Because YOUR candidate is about as WHACKED OUT as they get.
- by maxcoffee-2009 October 26, 2010 7:42 AM EDT And Rand Paul is the kind of people that are supported by the Tea Party. Like Alaska's Miller hand cuffing a reporter. ... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Violations of the First Amendment, 14th amendment, numerous state and federal laws, employing unlicensed thugs, using active service military members to enforce civilian law in violation of POSSE COMITATUS, Threats of VIOLENT OVERTHROW of the government if they lose elections. The TEA PARTY REPUBLICANS DO NOT believe in INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS as they claim; they do not support and defend the US Constitution, they do not support and defend US LAW -- they are the true BULLIES and THUGS that they falsely accuse others of being.

- WDRB is a FOX affiliate out of Louisville. The local affilates didn't bother to show up at the KET studios. I watched the debate on Lexington's PBS KET channel. I watched two local evening news reports and little was mentioned about the debate. I guess I missed the "takedown" segment. Paul did stammer a bit and back pedaled claiming he was mis-quoted when he was challenged on statements about the Civil Rights Act. I think he handed a good ad man ammunition for another commerical if they can dig up video of him running his mouth about the subjects he claimed last night he had been misquoted on.

- by louiville12 October 26, 2010 8:27 AM EDT They were not in his employ they were just supporters who saw a threat and stopped it, just like Obama supporters would do if someone ran up to hand him a bomb, anthrax....Unknown... __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WHEN you are WRONG and it is not a BOMB it is criminal ASSAULT and SHOULD BE DENOUNCED by THE CANDIDATE HIMSELF and PROSECUTED.

- "A police watch commander said early Tuesday that she didn't know if any arrests were made." Just think about that for a minute, fellow victims

- by louiville12 October 26, 2010 7:43 AM EDT Pleeeese leftist have been breaking windows, burning cars, assaulting people who just want to be part of democracy in a well orchestrated plan of intimidation. Where Obama has threatened "Hand to Hand combat" is he doesn't get his way. ============================Of course you can supply citations for the sources of your allegations. Of course you can and will. (I never have anyone take me up on these requests.)

- How many do you want? "GOP takeover of Congress would mean 'hand-to-hand combat,' Obama warns" http://articles.latimes.com/2010/oct/07/news/la-pn-obama-base-20101008 "I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face."-Obama "Two Ohio voters, including Domino?s pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they?d already signed up. Barkley estimated he?d registered to vote "10 to 15" times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others." " The crowd for the demonstration, including a variety of left-wing groups, was estimated at 10,000 people, far short of the 50,000 that rally organizers had hoped for, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported on its website. Authorities in the Twin Cities said that nearly half the people arrested could face felony charges, the paper said. The afternoon rally was peaceful at first. What were described as smaller groups of more hostile demonstrators were later rounded up by police, and St Paul city officials called in reinforcements from the Minnesota National Guard. Broken windows blamed on the protesters were reported at a department store and bank. "
- The persecution that the right wing zealots feel are fantasies in their demented minds. The fear everything they do not understand. Hitler stirred the fears of his fellow Germans the same way. Just wait until the ultra-right, Tea Partiers start wearing Brown shirts, high stepping in black boots, and raising their arms in front in salute. Then we will really know their true agenda.
- Well, I think its time to reload... Charles, get my gun please!

- Ha ha, it is funny to hear libs screaming the loudest yet they think it is fine for SEIU members throwing their elbows around at Town Hall meetings. Boo Hoo, someone picked on a liberal activist. When leftists (anywhere) break things they call it a demonstration and rationalize their behavior. When anyone else does it they call it extremist behavoir. After all the BS of the last 2 years I am looking forward to the election results. The fun won't end there but will only be just beginning. Stay tuned.
